Vision Source, WellMed Create Relationship for Member Vision Care Services
Vision Source named vision, eye care provider for WellMed members in San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi
HOUSTON (November 18, 2013) – Texas-based optometric alliance, Vision Source, announced today it has a new relationship with WellMed Medical Management, a large health care delivery network focused primarily on senior care, to deliver vision and eye care services to the group's members in San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi as part of WellMed’s health management program for Medicare Advantage patients. WellMed members will have access to clinicians in the Vision Source network of more than 45 optometric practices and 60 clinicians in the aforementioned service areas.
With a specialty in providing healthcare to seniors and focus on prevention, WellMed looks to the clinicians in the Vision Source network to broaden access to high-quality eye care for its members. Glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy screening exams, especially for those in high-risk groups, will be an integral part of the relationship.

Vision Source, Memorial Hermann Health Solutions Join Forces for Innovative Member Vision Care Solution
Vision Source named as a vision, eye care provider for Memorial Hermann Health System members
HOUSTON (November 18, 2013) – Texas-based optometric alliance Vision Source announced today it has executed an agreement with Memorial Hermann Health Solutions to provide vision and eye care services to Memorial Hermann Health System's member base. Memorial Hermann Health System members will have access to the clinicians in the Vision Source network of more than 30 optometric practices and 40 clinicians in the greater Houston area.
